SUMMARY:Chattanooga Horn Authority
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: https://eventim.us/chahornauthority26\n\nChattanooga Horn Authority Live in Chattanooga | Songbirds \nDoors at 6:00 PM \nShow at 7:00 PM \nSeated Show \nIn a music landscape increasingly shaped by digital production and stripped-down arrangements\, the Chattanooga Horn Authority is a bold\, brassy counterpoint—a living reminder of the era when rock bands weren’t afraid to bring a full horn section to the front of the stage. This eight-piece ensemble has become one of the region’s most distinctive acts\, blending technical precision with the kind of joyful\, big-band energy that defined the FM radio generation. Their mission is simple but ambitious: keep horn-driven rock alive\, loud\, and thriving in the Scenic City.\nThe band’s set lists read like a curated tribute to the giants of the genre. Chicago\, Blood Sweat & Tears\, Steely Dan\, Van Morrison\, Huey Lewis and the News—artists whose arrangements demanded not only skill but personality. And personality is exactly what the Chattanooga Horn Authority delivers. When the organ growls\, the drums shuffle\, and the “three-headed horn monster” roars to life\, the room shifts. It’s not mere nostalgia; it’s a celebration of a sound that still hits with the force of a brass-powered freight train.\nLocal venues and event organizers have taken notice. The band has become a high-energy staple at Hi-Fi Clyde’s\, where late-night crowds pack the floor for sets that stretch well into the night. They’ve also become a go-to act for major community events\, including Collegedale’s Freedom Festival\, the City of Chattanooga’s New Year’s Eve Ball Drop at Coolidge Park and providing the opening acts for nationally touring acts at Barrelhouse Ballroom and Riverfront Nights. This isn’t your local bar band—they’re a full-scale musical experience.\nPart of the group’s charm lies in its members\, who range in age from 40 to 70 and bring decades of musical experience to the stage. All are Chattanooga-area residents forming a lineup of seasoned musicians with deep local ties and impressive résumés. Their shared goal was to create something different—something bigger—than the typical cover-band circuit.\nIn a city with a rich musical heritage\, the Chattanooga Horn Authority isn’t just preserving a genre—they’re elevating it. One soaring brass line at a time\, they’re carving out a space all their own and reminding Chattanooga that some sounds never go out of style. \nArtist Links: \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/p/Chattanooga-Horn-Authority-61560652372806/\nYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmckYwm65rDQjPyQnq5MM8A \n\nBuy Tickets: https://eventim.us/chahornauthority26\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. SUMMARY:Copeland with special guest Jenny Dee
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: https://eventim.us/copeland26\n\nCopeland and Jenny Dee Live in Chattanooga | Songbirds \nDoors at 6:00 PM \nShow at 7:00 PM \nStanding Show with Limited Seating\n \nLongevity in music comes through pushing yourself and expanding the possibilities of your sound. This has never been more true for Copeland on their latest effort Blushing\, a collection of 11 new tracks that advance and evolve everything the trio of musicians has done up until now. The band\, which originally formed in Lakeland\, Florida in 2001\, has unveiled six albums\, spanning from their 2003’s debut Beneath Medicine Tree to 2016’s Ixora. While they began as a rock band\, Copeland’s music has explored multiple genres and pulled in various stylistic influences like electronic and symphonic. In the past the musicians have aptly melded these styles\, creating a unique amalgam of sounds. This time they wanted to take each sound and style and push it to its logical extreme. \n“We wanted to take all of the elements that made up our sound in the past and push those elements farther\,” Aaron says. “So rock becomes more rock than we’ve been in the past. If we’ve taken elements of symphonic tones\, let’s now be very symphonic. When we’re being electronic\, be very electronic. We wanted to emphasize each element of sound harder\, like an exaggerated version of Copeland’s sound. We could be each thing individually by pushing each facet of our art in a more focused way.” \nAfter touring for two years on Ixora\, Copeland’s first album since reuniting in 2014 after five years apart\, the musicians took their time to write new music. Aaron remained in Florida\, where he has his own studio Vanguard Room\, and Bryan and Stephen were spending time in Nashville. Over the course of nearly two years\, the musicians met several times in Florida for two to three week spans trying to develop this new version of their sound. It was a challenging process and occasionally life got in the way. Ultimately\, it was essentially not to overthink anything even as the time passed. \n“There’s a danger when something takes a long time that you might overcook the idea\,” Aaron says. “You work all the unique things out of them trying to make them perfect. Instead of overthinking we would just strip it back to the original idea and start fresh. We wanted to go back to the first demo and just start again\, and that made it better. These songs feel like they made it to a good place.” \nArtist Links: \nWebsite: https://shop.copeland.band/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/copelandband/ \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/copeland/ \nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/31HpswGOiF0Mc2wm11sIoN?si=wtBk2HCHQpmicx6-pS54Lw \n\nBuy Tickets: https://eventim.us/copeland26\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. SUMMARY:Clay Street Unit w/ Tobacco Road
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: https://eventim.us/claystreetunit26\n\nClay Street Unit Live and Tobacco Road in Chattanooga | Songbirds \nDoors at 6:00 PM \nShow at 7:00 PM \nStanding Show with Limited Seating\n \nHailing from Denver\, Colorado\, Clay Street Unit mixes the acoustic instrumentation of bluegrass and folk with the amplified energy of Americana and country. The result is a singular interpretation of American roots music that blurs the borders between genre and geography\, fusing the influence of the Rocky Mountains with the traditions of the Appalachians. Driven forward by drums\, sharp songwriting\, and the chemistry of good friends and musical brothers who’ve shared countless hours on stage\, Clay Street Unit’s music doesn’t just nod to the band’s influences; it reshapes them into something new. With their debut album on the horizon\, Clay Street Unit are staking their claim as torchbearers of something both fresh and familiar\, nodding to the foundations of American music while sharpening their own progressive edge. \n  \nTake your art seriously\, not yourself. \nThat’s the motto emerging blues-rock band Tobacco Road lives by – whether they’re on the road\, in the studio\, or practicing in their East Nashville garage. Playful\, energetic\, and equal parts modern and soulful\, the band’s spirited personality turns a room full of strangers into a group of friends in minutes. \nWith a little central Texas spunk\, old-school Louisiana blues\, and roots in North Carolina’s Piedmont\, the past lives of Tobacco Road’s members blend into a sound that moves seamlessly between beltable diary entries\, Southern-rock storytelling\, and indie-rock groove. They draw from the nostalgia of Creedence Clearwater Revival\, the soul of Susan Tedeschi\, and the dynamics of Fleetwood Mac\, while taking cues from modern role models like Maggie Rogers and The Marcus King Band. \nIn their first year as a band\, Tobacco Road released their six-song debut EP All in Time and shared the stage with rising contemporaries like Marlon Funaki\, Winyah\, and Liam St. John. Tobacco Road’s quick development stems from a live show that’s both high-energy and disarmingly intimate – despite the sweeping vocals and wailing solos\, they make you feel like part of the band\, whether it’s your first or fiftieth show. \nThe shifting moods of the band’s sound reflect the uniqueness of its members as five twenty-somethings learning to navigate love\, loss\, joy\, confusion\, and identity. Tobacco Road captures the chaos of growing up and the peace that comes with finding your people. \nArtist Links: \nClay Street Unit: \nWebsite: https://www.claystreetunit.com/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/claystreetunit/?hl=en \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/claystreetunit/ \nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0HmpQ609wnu7isR6i96CWb?si=24oFayNRQp-NbBlyB9sjEA \nTobacco Road: \nWebsite: https://www.thebandtobaccoroad.com/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/tobaccoroad.band/?hl=en \nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1TXzO2kMPkmcOCId24wkCh?si=7kZR8s4WRJSGcuaNXNgC2w \n\nBuy Tickets: https://eventim.us/claystreetunit26\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. SUMMARY:Jay Buchanan
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: https://eventim.us/jayb26\n\nJay Buchanan Live in Chattanooga | Songbirds \nDoors at 7:00 PM \nShow at 8:00 PM \nSeated Show\n \nJay Buchanan is the most commanding voice in modern rock — a singer\, songwriter and performer whose voice bridges raw gospel fire\, cinematic poetry and classic American soul. Born in San Bernardino\, California\, and raised between the recovering steel town of Fontana and mountain forests of Wrightwood\, Buchanan began writing songs as soon as he could hold a guitar. Aggressively busking and recording home demos led to record deals\, and constant artistic reinvention. Throughout\, Buchanan has somehow managed to exemplify uncompromised artistry. \nIn 2008 he became the powerhouse voice and lyricist of Rival Sons — the GRAMMY-nominated Long Beach band whose albums such as Pressure & Time\, Great Western Valkyrie and Feral Roots revitalised modern rock\, earning global acclaim and tours with Black Sabbath\, The Rolling Stones\, and AC/DC to name a few. \nA frequent collaborator with nine-time GRAMMY-winning producer Dave Cobb\, Jay Buchanan has worked in film\, appeared on recordings with a wide range of artists from Brandi Carlile and Jason Isbell to The Bloody Beetroots and Massive Attack\, and performs three songs in the recent 2025 film Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. \nNow returning to his roots as a solo artist with a powerful narrative\, Buchanan’s forthcoming album Weapons of Beauty (February 2026) reveals a deeply personal\, wide-lensed sound — a testament to endurance\, redemption\, and the belief that a good song can sometimes be the truest form of resistance. \n  \nArtist Links: \nWebsite: https://www.weaponsofbeauty.com/\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jaythebirdthatsings\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/jaybuchananrivalsons\nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4yxxlbLkkrnChV7826Cxv7?si=GpJbNrsUQIyf7uL4P4PGhA \n\nBuy Tickets: https://eventim.us/jayb26\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. That’s the most important thing we can do: Just communicate with our followers and let them know they fucking rule!” The Boston quintet — which also includes guitarists Anthony Cervone and Michael “Goldie” Goldblatt\, bassist Cal Hamandi\, and drummer Zack Putnam — have already amassed a grassroots fanbase thanks to their energetic\, wildly cathartic live shows around the Northeast. They’ve seen a community coalesce around their inspired rock songs\, with a quarter-million monthly followers and millions of streams despite\, until recently\, having no label\, no publicist\, and no manager. They’re proof that good tunes can still find their audience\, and they’re working hard to bring\nothers into the fold. “We’ve always been making music for ourselves\, and we’re going to hold ourselves to that\, because we know other people will want to hear it\, too.” \n  \nArtist Links: \nWebsite: https://www.failaci.com/\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/fai.laci/\nTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@fai.laci\nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6ilTnouFQzuDsvGY1jamfF?si=_eskzGx6RZCInmGJuh8IOA&nd=1&dlsi=5c1671fc6cb444e6 \n\nBuy Tickets: https://eventim.us/failaci26\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks.
