Chattanooga Jazz Fest is proud to present Chattanooga’s first Collegiate Big Band Showcase at Songbirds, featuring an exciting night of live jazz performed by some of the region’s most talented collegiate ensembles.

This special event will feature performances from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga Jazz Band alongside the award-winning Jacksonville State University Jazz Bands I and II. Together, these outstanding musicians will bring the bold sound, energy, and tradition of big band jazz to the Songbirds stage.

The Collegiate Big Band Showcase celebrates the next generation of jazz performers while supporting the continued growth of Chattanooga’s vibrant music community. All proceeds from this event will benefit Chattanooga Jazz Fest 2026, helping fund performers and community-focused programming.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of powerful horns, swinging rhythms, and exceptional musicianship as these collegiate jazz ensembles showcase their talent live.

Venue Policies (Please Read):

No large bags or backpacks. Small purses or clutches only. Outside food and drink are not allowed unless otherwise noted. Exceptions may be made for medical or infant needs. All bags are subject to inspection. Concerts are 18+, and we ID everyone at the door. Ages 17 & under are allowed IF accompanied by a parent/guardian. All ticket sales final unless the show is cancelled by the venue. If you have questions, please contact the venue in advance.
