SUMMARY:Blake Worthington String Band
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets: eventim.us/blakeworthington\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM\nShow at 7:00 PM\nSeated Show \nBlake Worthington Band\nThe Blake Worthington (STRING) Band is quickly becoming one of the most compelling forces in the Chattanooga music scene\, delivering a sound that’s acoustically electrifying as it is deeply rooted. Led by the original songwriting of Blake Worthington\, the band masterfully blends the rapid-fire precision of bluegrass\, the storytelling of folk\, and an undeniable groove. The result is a vibrant\, high-energy experience built on meaningful and genuine song lyrics. \nThe Blake Worthington (STRING) Band includes Blake’s authentic vocals and refined guitar work met by some of the Scenic City’s finest pickers\, creating an immersive experience with every show. The lineup includes: \nJohn Benjamin Davis (Fiddle): Known as one of Chattanooga’s most versatile and original players weaving intricate melodies and soaring improvisations that anchor the band’s folk and bluegrass core. \nPatrick Dugan (Mandolin): Dugan’s nimble\, percussive mandolin picking provides a crucial layer of syncopation and sparkle\, bridging the gap between traditional Appalachian music and modern rock dynamics. \nTaylor Brown (Upright Bass): Brown lays down the essential groove with a thunderous\, yet agile\, upright bass foundation\, driving the band’s energetic rhythms. \nDon’t miss the chance to experience the Blake Worthington (STRING) Band and take in a refreshing evening of real\, original\, acoustic music! \n\nRedd & The Paper Flowers\nAppalachian Folk / Livingroom Folk band from Knoxville\, Tennessee with members Katie Adams (upright bass)\, Colleen d’Alelio (cello)\, Gavin Gregg (mandolin)\, and Redd Daugherty (guitar). \nThe band met in 2022 through a local open mic and mutual friends\, and they just released their debut album\, Appalachian Bell Jar\, a record that is a testament to East Tennessee and greater Appalachia’s beauty\, struggles with government support\, and their experiences in the area. \nThe band has grown extremely close over the past three years\, particularly in touring: In 2025 alone\, they’re on the road for 22 weeks out of the year. The band also grew through the tragedy of Redd Daugherty losing her dear friend\, Jason Cooper\, who owned a local Knoxville music store named Rush’s Music\, which has been a staple of the Knoxville music community since 1958. From Coop’s tragic death\, Redd found out he willed her the business\, his estate\, and his dog\, Ando\, who passed in April 2024. Redd owns\, operates\, and works at Rush’s alongside Katie and Gavin during their off time from touring\, which services over 90 schools. \nTheir second album\, Dead Little Thing\, will highlight the struggles from this experience and is set to release January 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy tickets: eventim.us/blakeworthington\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. SUMMARY:East Nash Grass
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets: eventim.us/eastnashgrass2026\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM\nShow at 7:00 PM\nStanding Show \nEast Nash Grass exemplifies the best of what bluegrass has to offer — as being named the 2024 IBMA [International Bluegrass Music Association] New Artist of the Year would suggest. But their breathtaking talent as singers\, instrumentalists\, and composers is just the beginning. While other acts chase their tail in search of nostalgia\, the secret to East Nash Grass lies in their unflinching ability to be themselves. \nIt certainly helps that they are a veritable supergroup of award-winners who have been performing longer than anyone would guess that they’ve been alive. With a lifetime of experience in both new and legacy acts (Dan Tyminski\, Tim O’Brien\, Sierra Hull\, Rhonda Vincent\, etc.)\, the tradition of bluegrass is fundamental to who they are as musicians and performers. Yet it’s their irreverent\, adventurous\, and audacious tendencies as next-gen performers that light a fire under audiences. Their ability to hone this edge was forged in the crucible of a dive bar outside of Nashville\, TN that they all but single-handedly put on the (bluegrass) map during their seven-year weekly residency. \nAfter hundreds of sets (and countless late-night jams)\, through personnel changes\, industry changes\, and a never-ending string of unprecedented world events\, East Nash Grass has coalesced into the hair-raising ensemble of Harry Clark [mandolin]\, Cory Walker [banjo]\, James Kee [guitar]\, and IBMA 2025 Fiddle Player of the Year Maddie Denton [fiddle]. Their love of both bluegrass and the absurd can be felt in both their live shows and on their new album “All God’s Children” (Mountain Fever\, 2025). Much like watching a bowling ball and feather fall together\, expectations of what should and shouldn’t work are challenged as the paradox of authenticity is revealed. Shock leads to excitement as risks keep listeners on the edge of their seats and irrefutable mastery drives home that this is no mere imitation of bluegrass: this IS bluegrass. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy tickets: eventim.us/eastnashgrass2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks.
