Since their forming in 2023 after a high school party taking place on an actual dock\, Dock Party has surged into an indie powerhouse of a band\, self-releasing 2 studio EPs in 2024\, and their most recent self titled album\, Dock Party\, in May of 2025. The opening track on the album\, Drugstore\, sets the tone for the band’s most refined and explosive project yet. The group’s sound is constantly evolving; their 20 released songs range from driving indie rock to gentle synth melodies. The boys show no signs of slowing down as they are continuing to book shows among the Gig City. Hailing from Nashville\, he finds a way to blur the lines between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix styles of guitar playing\, a Motown rhythm section\, and pop vocal melodies. \nTouring nationally and internationally since 2014\, Childers has opened for Vince Gill\, B.B. King\, Robert Cray\, Third Eye Blind\, and Leann Rimes\, and headlined the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He has also played the actual guitars of Chuck Berry\, Stevie Ray Vaughan\, and Jimi Hendrix in tribute as the Songbirds Guitar Museum Ambassador.
