SUMMARY:Yasmin Williams
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets: eventim.us/yasmin_williams\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM\nShow at 7:00 PM\nSeated Show \nWhen guitarist and composer Yasmin Williams sits down to compose\, she does not search her subconscious for elaborate melodies or clever chord progressions. Instead\, she goes granular—fixating on a single note. She plays it again and again\, sustaining it\, adjusting the attack or release\, subtly shifting its character. Eventually\, other notes begin to gather around it\, forming chords and expanding its world. Williams calls this process “ruminating\,” and it is central to her writing. \n“I’ve learned a little about how to sit with a note\, and to give things time\,” the Virginia native says. “You find some tiny idea and just play it over and over again until something else appears. You have to trust that sometimes a note will take you where it wants to go next.” That intuitive patience led to the breathtakingly tactile and quietly riveting Acadia\, her Nonesuch debut. Across nine original compositions\, Williams expands dramatically on the sonic landscape she began shaping with her acclaimed 2021 release\, Urban Driftwood. \nIn addition to the crisp fingerpicked guitar that established her as a rising force in instrumental folk\, Williams performs on kora\, harp guitar\, banjo\, electric guitar\, and bass with striking authority. While her earlier recordings were largely solo endeavors\, Acadia finds her collaborating across a broad stylistic spectrum\, including vocalist Aoife O’Donovan\, violinist Darrian Donovan Thomas\, folk quartet Darlingside\, synthesist Rich Ruth\, and jazz alto saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins. \nThough the songs on Acadia evoke rolling hills and rustic rambles\, they are far from traditional folk. Many unfold as intricate suites\, marked by sudden shifts in mood\, spontaneous reharmonizations\, and extended tension-building passages more commonly associated with progressive rock. \nWilliams organized Acadia in three movements: an opening section that channels the exuberance of old-time music while gently stretching its conventions; a middle passage rich with layered textures and atmospheric expanse; and a final segment introducing electric guitars and drums\, embracing an experimental and improvisational spirit. \nWritten while touring\, the music carries that momentum within it. There is breath\, motion\, and a sense of the world unfolding in real time. \nIt is music that feels alive. \nJoining Yasmin Williams is East Tennessee native Rachel McIntyre Smith\, a songwriter whose comfort-twang storytelling bridges tradition and modern charm. Holler Magazine calls her “Loretta Lynn for the TikTok Generation\,” and that blend of classic country influence with a fresh\, relevant perspective shines through every lyric. \nA classically trained pianist who began lessons at age nine\, Rachel won the Tennessee State Piano Competition twice and earned the prestigious Paderewski Medal for ten consecutive years of superior Guild ratings. Her deep foundation in music theory shaped her multi-instrumental approach\, leading her to teach herself guitar and ukulele while developing a distinct\, melody-driven songwriting voice. \nHer debut EP Glory Daze was featured on BBC Radio and Spotify’s Best of Fresh Finds Country\, and the title track was named one of the best country songs of 2022 by Grady Smith. Her latest release\, Honeysuckle Friend\, highlights poignant lyrics layered with banjo\, mandolin\, and rich three-part harmonies. \nWith brightly colored style\, smooth vocals\, and small-town warmth\, Rachel brings a heartfelt\, roots-inspired energy that beautifully complements an evening of expressive\, genre-bending musicianship. \n\nBuy tickets: eventim.us/yasmin_williams\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. Small purses or clutches only. Outside food and drink are not allowed unless otherwise noted. Exceptions may be made for medical or infant needs. All bags are subject to inspection. SUMMARY:Fireside Collective
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: eventim.us/firesidecollective2026\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM \nShow at 7:00 PM \nSeated Show \n  \nBorn out of the creative pulse and mountain spirit of Asheville\, Fireside Collective has spent the last decade growing into one of the most dynamic forces in modern newgrass. \nWhat began in 2014 as a bluegrass rooted collaboration between Joe Cicero on guitar\, Jesse Iaquinto on mandolin\, Tommy Maher on resonator guitar\, and Carson White on bass quickly expanded beyond its original songwriting circle. When Iaquinto first brought the group together\, the goal was simple. Support original songs with tight musicianship and heart. \nThen the road reshaped the vision. \nAfter the pandemic\, the band returned to touring with renewed inspiration\, looking toward improvisational legends like Grateful Dead as their creative North Star. Setlists became fluid. Songs stretched into expansive movements. Improvisation took center stage. Each night became its own musical conversation. \nIn late 2023\, the addition of drummer Michael Tillis pushed the sound even further. Heavy funk grooves\, classic rock textures\, touches of techno\, and hints of world music began weaving into their bluegrass foundation. \nBy the end of 2024\, Fireside Collective had fully transformed into something beautifully hybrid. Rooted in folk and bluegrass tradition\, yet boldly colored with rock and funk energy. The result is a vibrant\, genre bending live experience that feels both grounded and exploratory. \nThis is not just a concert. It is a musical journey. \n\nBuy Tickets: eventim.us/firesidecollective2026\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. Small purses or clutches only. SUMMARY:Cruz Contreras & The Black Lillies
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets: eventim.us/cruzcontreras\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM\nShow at 7:00 PM\nSeated Show \nRaised between the rugged lines of Tennessee and the long shadows of Michigan\, Cruz Contreras has spent nearly thirty years forging his path through the Americana musical landscape. He’s a multi-instrumentalist\, songwriter\, bandleader\, producer\, and storyteller whose voice cuts through noise like a well-honed blade. \nFirst as co-founder of Robinella and the CCstringband\, then as the fire at the heart of The Black Lillies\, Cruz helped carve a sound that feels as old as the hills and as wild as the road. His songs have topped the Billboard and Americana charts\, picked up Independent Music Awards\, and earned him a nomination from the Americana Music Association as an emerging artist\, though his music suggests he was never chasing trends to begin with. \nHe’s stood on stages from Conan O’Brien’s late-night set to the Grand Ole Opry\, the latter over 40 times\, and drawn praise from Rolling Stone\, NPR\, American Songwriter\, and Vanity Fair. Contreras has toured with Robert Earl Keen and the Turnpike Troubadours\, collaborated with John Oates\, and shared stages with Old Crow Medicine Show\, The Travelin’ McCourys\, Tyler Childers\, Mavis Staples\, Elizabeth Cook and more. A festival veteran\, Cruz Contreras and The Black Lillies have performed at Bonnaroo\, Merle Fest\, Jazz Fest\, Red Ants Pants\, Stagecoach\, High Sierra\, DelFest\, Pickathon\, Mile Zero\, Cayamo\, to name a few. But he doesn’t play for headlines\, but for the quiet connection\, the still moment in a crowded room when a lyric hits home like a memory you forgot you had. \nNow touring behind his debut solo album Cosmico\, Cruz is joined once more by a band of road-tested companions under the name Cruz Contreras and The Black Lillies. Together\, they bring with them a catalog of songs that stretch across time — from the familiar past to the hopeful unknown. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy tickets: eventim.us/cruzcontreras\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. What remains constant is their ability to blur genres\, play with expectation\, and turn every set into something that feels entirely of the moment. \n  \nPerfect Friend\, the Nashville-based duo of Ian Atwater and Richard Neff\, creates heartfelt songs about eating life whole and listening to the footsteps along the way. SUMMARY:Michael Prewitt & CrunchGrass Supreme
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets:\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM\nShow at 7:00 PM\nSeated Show \nMichael Prewitt\, mandolinist\, singer-songwriter\, and all-around bluegrass troubadour\, hails from the Cumberland Mountain foothills of southeast Kentucky. He began his musical journey on the fiddle at age six or seven\, switching to mandolin at twelve. Over the years\, he developed a distinctive\, spirited style that reflects a deep debt to Bill Monroe while still embracing adventurous\, outside-the-box improvisation in extended jams. \nFor several years\, Prewitt toured with the Grammy-nominated and IBMA award–winning band Special Consensus\, where his inventive\, hard-driving mandolin work first drew widespread recognition. During his tenure with the band\, he was twice nominated for the IBMA Momentum Award for Instrumentalist of the Year. \nIn early 2024\, Prewitt released his first solo project\, “The Peerless Mountain Sessions\,” a set of traditional fiddle tunes reimagined for a mandolin-bass-banjo trio and recorded live in a single day. The album draws on bluegrass\, old-time\, and Canadian fiddle traditions\, earning praise for its clarity\, authenticity\, and spontaneous energy. \nLater that year\, he showcased his songwriting and vocal abilities with “Something He Can Handle\,” a full-length album praised by Bluegrass Today as “a brilliant effort” and warmly reviewed by Bluegrass Unlimited and various industry bloggers. \nNow performing under his own name\, either solo or with his full band\, CrunchGrass Supreme\, Prewitt delivers a compelling mix of lyrical storytelling\, expressive singing\, and fiery picking to audiences across North America and Europe. \nWith deep roots\, dynamic performances\, and a growing body of both traditional and original music\, Michael Prewitt stands squarely in the shadows of past creative traditionalists like Norman Blake and John Hartford\, embodying the heart and future of contemporary Americana and bluegrass. \nRandy Steele and High Cold Wind are a high energy bluegrass band based out of Chattanooga Tennessee. Flush with clever cover songs\, fresh take originals\, and Steele’s own magnetic stage presence\, they quickly win over audiences. The whole thing started as a support band for Steele’s singer/songwriter touring. Over the last 3 years they’ve found themselves invited to multiple festivals throughout the Southeast US with acts like Greensky Bluegrass\, Yonder Mountain String Band\, East Nash Grass and sharing bills and stages with Shadowgrass\, The Mountain Grass Unit\, Andy Frasco\, and Hudson Freeman. Joining Steele in the High Cold Wind is flat pick wizard Brad Clark on acoustic guitar. Multiple State\, multiple instrumental contest Champion and well known teacher John Boulware on Mandolin and Slim Pickins Bluegrass’ own Justin Hupp on the upright bass. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy tickets:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. SUMMARY:East Nash Grass
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets: eventim.us/eastnashgrass2026\n\nDoors at 6:00 PM\nShow at 7:00 PM\nStanding Show \nEast Nash Grass exemplifies the best of what bluegrass has to offer — as being named the 2024 IBMA [International Bluegrass Music Association] New Artist of the Year would suggest. But their breathtaking talent as singers\, instrumentalists\, and composers is just the beginning. While other acts chase their tail in search of nostalgia\, the secret to East Nash Grass lies in their unflinching ability to be themselves. \nIt certainly helps that they are a veritable supergroup of award-winners who have been performing longer than anyone would guess that they’ve been alive. With a lifetime of experience in both new and legacy acts (Dan Tyminski\, Tim O’Brien\, Sierra Hull\, Rhonda Vincent\, etc.)\, the tradition of bluegrass is fundamental to who they are as musicians and performers. Yet it’s their irreverent\, adventurous\, and audacious tendencies as next-gen performers that light a fire under audiences. Their ability to hone this edge was forged in the crucible of a dive bar outside of Nashville\, TN that they all but single-handedly put on the (bluegrass) map during their seven-year weekly residency. \nAfter hundreds of sets (and countless late-night jams)\, through personnel changes\, industry changes\, and a never-ending string of unprecedented world events\, East Nash Grass has coalesced into the hair-raising ensemble of Harry Clark [mandolin]\, Cory Walker [banjo]\, James Kee [guitar]\, and IBMA 2025 Fiddle Player of the Year Maddie Denton [fiddle]. Their love of both bluegrass and the absurd can be felt in both their live shows and on their new album “All God’s Children” (Mountain Fever\, 2025). Much like watching a bowling ball and feather fall together\, expectations of what should and shouldn’t work are challenged as the paradox of authenticity is revealed. Shock leads to excitement as risks keep listeners on the edge of their seats and irrefutable mastery drives home that this is no mere imitation of bluegrass: this IS bluegrass. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy tickets: eventim.us/eastnashgrass2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. Led by the original songwriting of Blake Worthington\, the band masterfully blends the rapid-fire precision of bluegrass\, the storytelling of folk\, and an undeniable groove. The result is a vibrant\, high-energy experience built on meaningful and genuine song lyrics. \nThe Blake Worthington (STRING) Band includes Blake’s authentic vocals and refined guitar work met by some of the Scenic City’s finest pickers\, creating an immersive experience with every show. The lineup includes: \nJohn Benjamin Davis (Fiddle): Known as one of Chattanooga’s most versatile and original players weaving intricate melodies and soaring improvisations that anchor the band’s folk and bluegrass core. \nPatrick Dugan (Mandolin): Dugan’s nimble\, percussive mandolin picking provides a crucial layer of syncopation and sparkle\, bridging the gap between traditional Appalachian music and modern rock dynamics. \nTaylor Brown (Upright Bass): Brown lays down the essential groove with a thunderous\, yet agile\, upright bass foundation\, driving the band’s energetic rhythms. \nDon’t miss the chance to experience the Blake Worthington (STRING) Band and take in a refreshing evening of real\, original\, acoustic music! \n\nRedd & The Paper Flowers\nAppalachian Folk / Livingroom Folk band from Knoxville\, Tennessee with members Katie Adams (upright bass)\, Colleen d’Alelio (cello)\, Gavin Gregg (mandolin)\, and Redd Daugherty (guitar). \nThe band met in 2022 through a local open mic and mutual friends\, and they just released their debut album\, Appalachian Bell Jar\, a record that is a testament to East Tennessee and greater Appalachia’s beauty\, struggles with government support\, and their experiences in the area. \nThe band has grown extremely close over the past three years\, particularly in touring: In 2025 alone\, they’re on the road for 22 weeks out of the year. The band also grew through the tragedy of Redd Daugherty losing her dear friend\, Jason Cooper\, who owned a local Knoxville music store named Rush’s Music\, which has been a staple of the Knoxville music community since 1958. From Coop’s tragic death\, Redd found out he willed her the business\, his estate\, and his dog\, Ando\, who passed in April 2024. Redd owns\, operates\, and works at Rush’s alongside Katie and Gavin during their off time from touring\, which services over 90 schools. \nTheir second album\, Dead Little Thing\, will highlight the struggles from this experience and is set to release January 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy tickets: eventim.us/blakeworthington\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks.
