SUMMARY:Chris Knight
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: eventim.us/chrisknight2026\n\nChris Knight Live in Chattanooga | Songbirds \nDoors at 6:00 PM \nShow at 7:00 PM \nSeated Show \nFor more than two decades\, Chris Knight has carved his own lane in American songwriting. The Kentucky native has released nine acclaimed albums\, played thousands of electrifying live shows\, and built a fiercely loyal fanbase from Texas honky-tonks to Manhattan rock clubs. Hailed by The New York Times as “the last of a dying breed… a taciturn loner with an acoustic guitar and a college degree\,” and praised by USA Today as “a storyteller in the best traditions of Mellencamp and Springsteen\,” Knight has earned his reputation as one of the most uncompromising and respected voices in Americana. \nHis latest album\, Almost Daylight\, arrives after a seven-year recording hiatus and delivers some of the most powerful and unexpected work of his career. Known for vivid portraits of rural life and hard-lived characters\, Knight continues that tradition here while also exploring themes of compassion\, redemption\, and love. Produced by Grammy-winner Ray Kennedy\, the album blends Knight’s signature grit with expanded instrumentation and soaring musicianship\, creating a sound that feels both raw and expansive. True to form\, Knight remains fiercely independent in his approach. As he puts it\, “If I don’t have something worth saying\, I’m not opening my mouth.” \nOpening the evening is Clarksville\, Tennessee’s rising Americana rock band Still Moves. What began as a basement studio collaboration between Lucian Greene and Isaac Frost quickly grew into a full-band powerhouse known for its genre-blending sound and high-energy live performances. After releasing their debut EP Henry in 2022\, the band continued building momentum with Until in 2023 and their self-titled album in 2024\, which Cage Riot praised as “a genre-bending masterpiece.” With the additions of Cody Kirby on drums\, Dalton Akins on bass\, and Michael Davidson on keys\, Still Moves has evolved into a dynamic five-piece delivering a powerful mix of rock\, Americana\, and psychedelic influence. \nWhether on a small dive bar stage or a festival crowd\, Still Moves brings the same passion and intensity to every performance\, making them the perfect opener for a night of powerful songwriting and unforgettable live music. \nJoin us at Songbirds for an evening featuring one of Americana’s most respected storytellers alongside one of Tennessee’s most exciting rising bands. \nArtist Links: \nWebsite: https://www.chrisknight.net/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisknightmusic/ \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chrisknightmusic \nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2XJzOLYV2mF5K2JfUhJEK0?si=MxYk1v9UTd6qOEJ1mmOmdg \n\nBuy Tickets: eventim.us/chrisknight2026\n\nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. SUMMARY:East Nash Grass
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets: eventim.us/eastnashgrassjune\n\nEast Nash Grass Live in Chattanooga | Songbirds \nDoors at 6:00 PM \nShow at 7:00 PM \nStanding Show \nHow did East Nash Grass follow up their 2024 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Best New Artist? By earning a nomination for Entertainer of the Year\, IBMA’s highest honor\, in 2025\, and celebrating fiddler Maddie Denton’s win as Fiddler of the Year. In short\, East Nash Grass have quickly established themselves as the fresh new face of Nashville’s storied bluegrass tradition\, a supergroup of rising stars: Grand Master Fiddle champion Denton is joined by banjo player Cory Walker (banjo player on the five-time nominated “Carter & Cleveland” album this year\, among numerous accolades)\, 2022 IBMA Momentum Mandolin Player of the Year Harry Clark\, and charismatic frontman James Kee. This is an all-star band that harkens back to the sort of talent collected in the original Blue Grass Boys and a powerhouse leader of the next generation in bluegrass excellence. \nRolling Stone had them among the “best of what we saw” at RockyGrass in 2025\, praising their “rowdy set of high-octane bluegrass numbers\,” and noting\, “The group itself is a rapidly-rising force on the national touring scene.” \nAnd “rowdy” is right. They are far more than just a group of impressive instrumental technicians\, building on night after night of three-set gigs on Nashville’s East Side\, playing tiny stages for the love of it between tours backing bigger acts. It’s a hard-forged bond that translates into an infectious on-stage energy that audiences can’t seem to get enough of. \nWith their new release\, “All God’s Children” (Mountain Fever\, August 22\, 2025)\, they show a depth and feel\, too\, that goes well beyond the traditional bluegrass fair\, with nods to Gypsy jazz and East Village folk\, and eye toward moving bluegrass forward and keeping it from being too mired in the past. If East Nash Grass isn’t the future of the genre it’s only because they’re already among its leading lights. \n  \nArtist Links: \nWebsite: https://www.eastnashgrass.com/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/eastnashgrass/ \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/eastnashgrass \nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4RlN3jngfM6H70icTCCPjl?si=xqVOZQU6Tq2UjF8T071sAw \n\nBuy Tickets: eventim.us/eastnashgrassjune\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks. Music connects and he carries that into the center of his work\, leaving both a euphoric and familiar presence. While he’s independently released 15 songs in the last three years\, he is working on a debut project right now. All of his music is recorded in house with his brother Hank as the audio engineer. \nBeing from Texarkana\, Arkansas instilled a drive to hone in on his craft though the lack of music scene caused him to move where he could really express his artistic message which took him to Fayetteville\, Arkansas. This is where he cut his teeth in the Northwest Arkansas music scene. Now living in Nashville since January 2020\, Jed is independently touring the country with his band in a gold van called ‘The Loaf”. \nBy achieving and producing what feels good in his art\, Jed just might help listeners do the same. \n***VIP packages are available that include: a 3 song acoustic set\, meet & greet\, signed polaroid\, ability to skip the merch line before the show\, and 1 GA ticket!*** \n  \nArtist Links: \nWebsite: https://www.jedharrelson.com/\nInstagram: http://www.instagram.com/jed_harrelson\nFacebook: www.facebook.com/jedharrelsonjams\nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1IlnvMYgqD8dh3UhWUPtaq?si=EaxUWk4JR-qGJ-LMi1lOtA\nTiktok: http://www.tiktok.com/jedharrelson \n\nBuy Tickets: https://eventim.us/jedharrelson26\n\n  \nVenue Policies (Please Read): \nNo large bags or backpacks.
