A highly acclaimed singer\, songwriter\, musician\, performer\, visual artist\, and poet\, Kinney’s influence reaches far beyond the stage.\n\n\n\n\n\nHis impact on American music has been formally recognized with inductions into both the Wisconsin Music Hall of Fame and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame\, honoring a career rooted in artistic integrity and cultural significance.\nThroughout his career\, Kinney has released numerous critically acclaimed recordings both with Drivin N Cryin and as a solo artist. His collaborations include work with\n\nWarren Haynes\, R.E.M.\, The Who\, John Popper\, and many others. Peter Buck of R.E.M. has produced and performed on several of Kinney’s albums and continues to play an active role in his musical journey.\n\nWhile continuously touring full-time with Drivin N Cryin\, Kinney has also carved out a distinct and respected path as a solo performer. Whether commanding a festival stage or delivering an intimate\, stripped-down acoustic set\, audiences are drawn to the opportunity to experience his songwriting up close and personal.\nRecent touring highlights include performances with Indigo Girls\, Blackberry Smoke\, The Black Crowes\, and more.
